Do you remember this blog post about our first donation, from Ann Millen from Australia? And this story about how Jørn was creative and cut her back pack into a million pieces and used everyone of them in recycling products? He made one day-pack, used some straps in one shoulder bag, some clips in another etc, all of the products sold in our shop in Hikkaduwa.

Any Millen came by our shop again a while ago, to give us a lot of donations, before leaving Sri Lanka. At the time I showed her this "surf-fin-bag", the last remaining piece from her old backpack. She was so excited to see and hear about what happened to her old "travel-buddy".  She loved the idea that it is still traveling around the world...

This is why second hand, reuse and recycle is such an adventure!
